Event Description
Marcus Eaton is attaining international acclaim with his music, and was recently hailed by David Crosby as "One of the best young singer-songwriters in America, maybe even the world."In 2011, Crosby invited Marcus to join him and his son James Raymond to play guitar on tunes that were the foundations of CROZ -- Crosby’s first solo album in over twenty years. Over the two-year recording process, Marcus co-wrote a number of songs on the album, played guitar and sang harmonies with one of the best harmonizers in rock music.
In early 2014, Marcus joined Crosby’s band for a sold-out US tour that included shows at L.A.’s Troubadour and other concert halls and an appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Marcus is currently recording his next album and continuing his collaboration with Crosby, Raymond and many of the players from CROZ. Says Marcus “It’s crazy to think that I’m now working with the people I grew up listening to.” Says Crosby, “He's a really brilliant writer. Brilliant musically. Brilliant lyrically. And he just plays guitar like God on a good day."
